The "Harmonization of Cardiovascular Diseases Management from Prevention to Heart Transplantation in the Cross-Border Area" project unites Romania and Serbia to address critical health challenges, supported by the European Union through the Interreg IPA programme.
• Aging Populations and Cardiovascular Health:
Cardiovascular diseases remain the leading cause of death in Southeast Europe, accounting for 58% of deaths in Romania and 54% in Serbia. This project aims to address these challenges by improving healthcare systems and ensuring equal access to quality care.
• Modernizing Healthcare: Investments in state-of-the-art medical equipment and digitalization pave the way for smarter, more efficient healthcare delivery.
• Modern equipment benefiting approximately 3,650 patients annually.
• Enhanced collaboration between healthcare institutions in Romania and Serbia.
• Training sessions to improve expertise among medical professionals.
