On Saturday, 30 May 2026, an educational day was organized in the Local Community Hall in Elemir as part of the SIPHEALTH project – Harmonization of Cardiovascular Diseases Management from Prevention to Heart Transplantation in the Cross-Border Area (RORS00008).

During the event, local residents attended a lecture dedicated to the prevention of cardiovascular diseases, common risk factors, the importance of regular preventive examinations, and healthy lifestyle habits.

A particularly valuable part of the event was the discussion with cardiologists from the General Hospital “Đorđe Joanović” Zrenjanin, who answered questions from citizens and provided professional advice on maintaining cardiovascular health.

By organizing educational days in local communities, the SIPHEALTH project contributes to raising public awareness and promoting preventive healthcare among citizens.

The project is implemented with the support of the European Union through the Interreg IPA Romania–Serbia Cross-Border Cooperation Programme.
